One of our client wanted to protect individual pages on her wordpress blog and only allow certain users to access those pages. In wordpress there are several ways to achieve this, but the easiest way is to use the wordpress core inbuilt feature for password protection.

So just follow these simple steps to create wordpress password protected page

WordPress Tutorial Steps :

#1 – Create a new post or edit an existing one depending on your need. After you have completed writing-editing the content of your page, look for the Publish Section, on the right hand top corner of your page.

#2 – Under the visibility option which by default is “Public”. Click on the edit link and select password protected option.

#3 – Once you have selected password protection option, choose a password of your choice.

#4 – Click Publish
